Early Spring 2025

I am attending Woolly Good Edinburgh on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th April and I have removed yarn from the shop but hope to update it again later in April. I will send a newsletter before the shop re-opens and hope to be able to offer Wilkhaven Sweater set pre-orders, with the latest batch of Shetland Heavy 4ply, at the same time.

I will also be at Tangled Galashiels 30/31 May.

Studio-shed visits are available by appointment. If you’d like to visit please email (mail@blackisleyarns.co.uk) or send a message (07940100975) to arrange a time and date. Black Isle Yarns is based in the small town of Fortrose on the Black Isle, approximately 30 minutes north of Inverness by car. The travel time is similar by bus and there is a regular service with a stop around 5 minutes walk away.

Postage: if the postage cost of an order is much less than the cost charged by the website I will refund the difference (minus a small amount for the cost of packaging). As of Friday 6th December I have temporarily suspending postage to EU and Northern Ireland while I familiarise myself with new GPSR and CE Marking regulations which come into affect for goods shipped to the EU and Northern Ireland from 13th December. Apologies to my lovely European neighbours, I hope I’ll be able to resolve things early in the New Year.
