Wandelbos Socks are striped socks with a seed stitch intarsia panel along the top / front, a short-row heel and
a half-twisted rib cuff. The pattern includes two options for length and thickness:
• Ankle (in fingering weight) – for sneakers in the warmer months;
• Mid-calf (in worsted weight – with fingering yarn held double throughout the whole sock) – for your
favorite boots during the colder months.
Three sizes: 1 (2, 3) intended to fit shoe sizes US child 10 through female 8 or male 7 and EUR 27-40.
Note: pick the sock size based on foot circumference (as you can knit them to any length to match the shoe
size).
The pattern is very comprehensive and contains video links to many of the techniques, including knitting intarsia in the round.
